Following songs that somehow involved José Carbajal "El Sabalero" now share a theme of Jaime Roos, if I mistake not, is the only track on a disc Jaime who did not sing it, but is entirely sung by "The Sabalero."
We also have a very good performance by Horacio Fontova and an instrumental by Hugo Fattoruso.
Enjoy them!
Version: Jaime Roos / José Carbajal (voice) - Disco: That (1980)
Lyrics:
In the cold night lost what
his soul was lost in the gale
such beauty that happy afternoon
that lit the lights of our city
In the cold night that was lost
old newspapers in his voice trailed off
the clothes hanging on the wires
greets away, prolonging the goodbye
They say it was, say it is here
say that he has died, say they will
They say it was, say it is here
say it is dead, say will
avenues in the windows cleaned
open balconies to let the sun
people resumes his tense way
rumbles on concrete work
In the melody playing sometimes
scissors asking people
the neighborhood breathes the times before
autumn clouds, that illusion
They say it was, say it is here
say that he has died, say they will
They say it was, say it is here
say that he has died, say they will
